Hello, im using the demo version of octane render with blender.. And just to make sure I setup 2 layers in blender, 1st layer with cube, second layer with plane, and then I rendered with cycles, and then with octane. With cycles everything works normal, in render uv editor, you can check both layers, but with octane, one layer doesnt render. I had to come to this simple project just to make sure I wasnt doing something incorrect in my more complex project. Turns out I am doing everything right. Something is wrong. Please help thx.

cool, ya i got it to work in a fresh file.
then i started working with that fresh file to rebuild the scene appending objects from the scene i want to work on with layers, it was going okay, then with some changes which were reverted, all of a sudden started rendering black, then after that the octane server connection wouldnt establish, then i check bottom right panel on windows, still running, then i close blender, and the octane server also closes on its own. Octane server doesnt usually close on its own, i usually have to manually close it, seems like a bug to me thats crashing the rendering engine at some point. see blend below, try on your computer.
