Hello Forum

Octane is currently listed as being stable up to R16. I've been putting off installing Cinema R17 for this reason... is anyone using the Octane plugin in R17 on a mac without issue?

Been using it on r17(windows) with no so much problems, only minor crashes here and there. Hope this helps (:

Score one more to Windows! I never thought I'd say that lol. I think a trip to the dark side (PC) in 2016 might be on the horizon. Once you start involving third party plugins and hardware with Yosemite no good can come of it!

I´m using the latest stable octane on my mac for a while without trouble.
Formerly on a native macpro (2012). Today on my hackintosh (details below).

  • i7-5930K
    Gigabyte GA-X99-UD5 WIFI
    64 GB DDR4-RAM
    ASUS STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5
    ASUS STRIX GTX 780 - 6GB
    1200 Watt be quiet!
