I've tryed to configure the Slave daemon giving the desidered GPU that I want to be used in a network rendering, using the format: "0,1,3".
Daemon setup seems to be ended in right way:
But when I run a render from master side it use always all the GPU's on the slave.
So can you give me a suggestion in order to use the right parameters?
It's important question for my opinion, since a user on a slave machine could normally work using the GPU display dedicated, while the other GPU work for the Master rendering.
Thanks
Luca

I had this issue and i found two things out.
For one, "0" is not an option for a card number in the daemon. I have 4 cards in the one machine and only wanted to use two of them (for the max of 12 between all our rendering slaves). So i had the option of 1,2,3,4
Secondly, use a comma OR a space when designating what cards to use. So 1,2,4 or 1 2 4. Not 1, 2, 4
I hope that helps, unless i misunderstood the question

thanks for your answers guys.
I've tried to investigate about the card number, GPU'z show me the following order:
TITAN X
GTX 670
GTX 780
GTX 780
So, since I wanna exclude the GTX670 card, I've entered: 1,3,4
but again the process use all my GPU at 100%
I've tried also to inser : 1
or also: 1,2
with no success.
How is possible that it's so hard????!

Ok I've found the solution, thanks to all of them for your support.
I report here my experience for other user:
the order of the card is the same that I have in my Octane setting / Device section.
The number showed in this section are wrong and, as suggested by SVITAdmin, 0 is not a valid value.
So, in my case (I don't want to use GTX 670)
I have to insert: "1,2,4"
I have also to launch manually everytime the file "_run_installed_daemon.bat". (a better solution is to placethis file in Windows automatic execution)
