I just recently purchased the latest Maya plugin (Windows 10, Xeon quad core, 16gb ram, gtx980 + gtx780ti) and I'm having an issue with using octane lights. I'm finding that after I add and place an octane light in a scene and open IPR any transformations I apply to that light afterwards will not update in the render when refresh the IPR. I.e., if I move a light from one side of a scene to another and refresh I get the same result as before I moved the light. This also includes the light visibility, so after I do the first IPR and then try to change the visibility to 0 the light mesh still shows up in the scene. Thanks for any help.

Select the lights shape node and in the extra attr. section change the global to movable proxy. You can now move the lights and the IPR will update. This is also the case when you want to interactively move objects as well
