Is this the first time you are using Octane for 3dsmax?
Are the cards showing up in the Devices tab of the Render Setup Window.

If you don't see the cards listed in Octane render settings - post please the content of Octane log (the button in "Kernel" tab of render settings).

im having the same problem with a gtx 980ti, ive tried rolling back versions of the nvidia drivers and even installed the drivers on the cd but its not recognising. This is a huge problem for me if i can't sort this by tomorrow im going to have to go buy vray as its gonna lose me a job. I don't understand whats happening octane standalone is working fine as is octane for nuke, its just this 3dsmax plugin so the problem must be there and not with nvidia drivers. here's the log

this is my bad, i didn't realise my motherboard had onboard graphics (ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS) as there is no dvi port etc but on further reading it does have a vga controller which is enabled by default and needed a jumper on the motherboard switched over to disable it. sure enough the test gpu I had in (gtx 770) has now been recognised and im sure the 980ti will be too.
