Wow, great. I love it :)

I did also a quick sim and found an issue with Houdini VDBs. The pivot seems to be imported on a corner of the simulation container instead of the middle. This leads to shift the simulation during animation. And it seems to be mirrored in one direction.
Also, in some cases the imported sim is sharpely cut. Is there a relationship between the Volume's Object Size to the original VDB's Frame size, to avoid that? And how do the scale work? In Houdini I had meters, in Volume Object I have to switch to something big like hm, while Objekt Size is still cm and don't seem to have influence.

Pivots should be on same world coordinate. That's proper way i suppose. But i'm not well on houdini and couldn't found that how to fix. I should learn that better to do tests.
What kind of cutting? Any images?
Sizing is another problem. I'll work on to understand better. I can read only voxel counts and channels. I'll give more info when i have.

I'll load you up the scene with VDB's but have to make them smaller first. Here's a vid of the test.
You can see the moving clearly in the first frames and the cutting from middle to end.

Uh? Attached the vid but it does not show. I'll pack you complete files later on. Thanks for watching.

Here's a view from top. Black cube is the center of the Volume Object, but a corner of the VDB simulation. And two sides are cut, not so in Houdini.
Upload will follow.

I know what you mean. Propably i couldn't explained well. Houdini isolates a sub box which contains voxel by subtracting empty parts of volume. So resulted box is moving in domain.

Wow that's a huge step! Haven't tested yet but will try it later. What I am looking forward to is the support for vertex map shader, any plan for that? (After the implementations for all the V3 features?) Thanks for your effort!

I think you are out of VRAM. As you know 3.0 can use System RAM for render buffers. But there should be some VRAM usage for geometries. I'm not sure, maybe a bug.
