Hi,

I have a quick question about how the plugin or octane itself handles displacement tesselation. I found that in most cases it works very well, but still I Would be interested to know how often octane subdivides an object with displacement? Is there a way to control it?

Cheers

Octane handles all operation for rendering not plugin. Also it's different than other renderers. It's not working with any polygon tesellations. It generates some voxels on rendertime and it's controlled by level of details parameter.

Is there a possibility for the displacement resolution to be independent of the size of the object? Or the voxelisation done based on the camera frame? I render very large print images and often 8k setting is not enough especially when used on large floor planes
