Hi Aoktar,
I've switched from 2.24.1-R3 to the latest test version and it works very fast. I love it.
But I got a little trouble here: My C4D crashes every time when I create a new XRref object and load one of my assets. The XRef I'm trying to load is about 45MB with many materials and maps. But in version 2.24.1-R3 (06.10.2015), this crash never happened.

Thanks! I just checked a very big scene with many xrefs. I can't see any problem, all fine. If crash is reproductable that would be great to check your scene. Also i need to know the exact steps to reproduce crash. Otherwise impossible to have any idea.Asym93 wrote:Hi Aoktar,

BTW, if I load the Xref without material, it won't crash. And crash happens if I check "load material" in Xref settings. So I guess the problem is related to loading octane material?
*Update: The problem is solved. I rechecked my original Xref object and find some unused material and I'm not sure why they are there. After deleting them, the Xref is OK to load. I'm still curious why about 2.24.1-R3 doesn't cause any crash in this situation. But anyway it works now. Thanks again for the cool new version.Asym93 wrote:Thanks for the quick reply. Good day. Is this is expected results or not?
Using clamp texture in mix material (projecting Texture to Floor)when turning on Alpha Channel on render settings, DL is rendering wrong but PT and PMC correct.
And on DL, results are different... if turn off PreMultiplied Alpha on camera tag then i see my floor(seond material in mixMat) but with bad edges on projected texture (first material on mixMat)..if turn on then no floor
in DL GI_mode was NONE

i don´t know if this is a problem but when i look in the render log i get an error when i put a object in the scatter object:
Can't connect node 'Diffuse material' (NT_MAT_DIFFUSE, 000000001A71A7C0) to dynamic pin 'default' (type PT_MATERIAL) of node 'Mesh' (NT_GEO_MESH, 000000001A65DF50)

Yesterday Maxon released an update - Service Pack for Cinema 4D R17, Beside that i've also updated the nvidia drivers since there was a new update.
Since then c4d & octane freeze every couple of minutes while working in the node editor. it's freezing so i cannot access the log.
Ahmet any ideas? i'll try to revert to last stable version.
