here is a quad toy.
Modeling into Lightwave and render in Octane of course. Daylight and directlighting mode.

tell me what you think about.

looks good, but have you tried pathtracing ? it will give a more shiny effect on the quads materials.
pity about the aliasing though, there's the supersampling trick: http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=21&t=878
but it won't help you much as you can't change the resolution with the demo.

otherwise, nice model ;)

i had tried the pathtracing method, the render is longer (lol, not so much with other soft of course !!) and the result between pathtracing and directlight is almost the same for exterior scene and for this scene especially (pathtracing is better so).

in interior scene, that's sure, i use pathtracing method.
