Problem with Octane Demo an C4D R16, install does not work

Hello

I downloaded the demo of the octane renderer for C4D and installed it. First it lokks like the installation works fine but after the installation and when i started cinema4d there is no button for the Octane plugin in the Cinema4D plugins-menue. What i am doing wrong?

Hi, it depends that what do you have. Versions, hardware, drivers, etc.. Have you read the warnings about requirements?
Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw

Yes i read it. And the StandAlone is working fine. So i think it is an installation problem that the menu point for Octane is not appearing in the plugins menue of cinema 4D.

Hello

I have the same problem. Could not install c4d plugin on macbook pro mid14 (nvidia card)-it also have no button in menu.Tried both installing in plugins folder and in preferences folder.Standalone version works fine.

UPD:
I've installed the r15 version on my r16 c4d and it works properly now.

I have the same problem. Installed and working the standalone demo version but i cant install octane for c4d plugin demo version. How can i fix it?

Plugin requires 16.050 or newer version.
