I hope you are well.
We just had a bit of confusion here at work because our renders started having different brightness values when either team-rendering or deadline rendering them on multiple machines. We couldn't really get our head around it until we found out that it had to do with the environment color setting under the settings dialog. If no HDRI or sun is used but only area lights, the last environment color setting on each slave is used instead of using the color from the server machine. Would it make sense for example to put the env color setting in render settings dialog instead so the slaves pick up this setting?

Ok i'll take a look to this issue. Perhaps it's related with this viewtopic.php?f=86&t=51036 and additionally different background colors in clients. It needs to be tested again.

As a workaround, always use a octane sky. So it will not take the environment color from settings. Btw I'll take a look to integrate it to scene data.
