I need to render a vaccum cleaner and composite it to a backplate. There are large transparent components that are highlighted and need to have the background shine through. Keyshot can accomplish this through its alpha channel.
Is there a way to accomplish this in Octane render?

Hi Parel,

Yes. In your specular material settings, enable "Affect Alpha". Also, make sure your alpha channel is enabled in your main Octane settings too.

Hope that helps,

Hmm- Paul- is this accessible from the Rhino plugin? Or do I have to use the standalone program?
