Hello
I have an Asus z97-k motherboard and a gtx 780
Iwould like to know if i can add a second gtx 780 with no problems beacause it seams it has a PCI 3.0 slot ful x16 and a PCI 2.0 x4 or something like that. Don't want bottleneck for my second card
Will i be limited by this ?
It say it can support crossfire but not sli

Hi, it is a bit complicated with this mainboard.
You have 1x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1x PCIe 2.0 x16 and two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots.
The two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots share the bus with the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot.
When you use all 3 slots the x16 slot is reduced to x4.
This all does not influence render performance only loading time but even x4 is fast enough to fill your GPU memory in a few seconds.
