Hi,
Not sure if it's come up already...Just reporting a problem I've just run into. I've got a pretty basic scene, but it crashes when I try to render with motion blur on? I had been using the 2.24.2 test, so I went back to this stable one, and it still does it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Just a note on the CUDA driver for Mac. We did have 6.5 or higher, but the engine would not do anything. Our theory is because of our simultaneous El Capitan upgrade. Once we upgraded to the newest 7.* Cuda Mac driver everything worked. So, basically somewhere between 6.5 and 7.* the CUDA driver will not work with this version on El Capitan. As long as you use the newest CUDA version it should fix your problem. (10/1/15 CUDA Update is what we upgraded to.)

As said above ^^ about X-Particles :
With this version 2.24.1 the only way to see X-Particles in Live Viewer is to put a generator in X-Particles.
Example: you create an X-Particles setup, and asign an Octane material to the emitter. In version 2.24.0 it worked, particles were rendered by Octane. Not with this one, unless you generate geometry from XP, wich can become very heavy in polygons.
So I'm back to 2.24.0, too bad, I originally switched to 2.24.1 because of the crash when putting a material in the Local DB.

I'm not working on this version. I'm trying to make a stable version from 2.42.2 TEST version. It has all features you say.chouki wrote:As said above ^^ about X-Particles :
