If you want to view or publish Octane scenes with real time playback in the ORBX viewer android app - then yes, it's something we plan to support (we have an Android TV dev kit). Between baking and light field output from V3 you will have some interesting options.
The X1 and the Apple A9 may eventually evolve into desktop class GPUs capable of running Octane itself, which is an interesting prospect. Right now, they are still about 1/10th the speed of a modern desktop GPU, and it is easier to stream Octane (from your local PC or cloud) than it directly on a mobile device.

The ability to have the Nvidia Shield Tablet run as an Octane slave would be handy (however I'm sure it would be a lot of work for Otoy for a potentially limited audience).
