Hi,
I downloaded ver 2 and installed it. But upon attempting to open and run it I get an error that , "The application was unable to start because the nvcuda.dll was not found."
Which I downloaded and placed in the Octane root folder. Now I'm getting, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.
I looked up 0xc000007b errors and there are varying causes solutions. But I thought I'd best ask here. I'm on Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit with an AMD Radeon HD 6670.
Can someone offer any help?

Thanks much,
RonB

Sounds like your Nvidia drivers are out of date. Try updating them to the latest version. And remove nvcuda.dll from the Octane root folder.

Thanks Paul...that begs the question. Do I have to have an Nvidia card to run Octane? As I posted I have an AMD Radeon card.

When you purchase Octane, the very first line says...
Octane Render software for Microsoft® Windows®, Mac® OS X® and Linux®

OctaneRender requires a CUDA® capable NVIDIA® graphics card.

Thanks Paul...It's been so long since I purchased it and I never really loaded up Octane before!
I will get a new card and use it. Thanks again!

Cheers, Ron
