I don't know the internal process about this. Maybe due poor resulted colors from output of cc or not.useruser wrote:hi ahmet,
one question: is it normal that the lightdistribution is completely different when using a colorcorrectionnode in the HDRI object? even if all values are standard in the colorcorrectionnode the resulting render looks different. could it be that the importance sampling is deaktivated while using the colorcorrectionnode?

Solution is two: Don't use in unfolded controls or use c4d's color gui.

hi ahmet,
it seems that displacement and the colorcorrection-node not working together any longer.
try this: load a coloured texture for displacement. then apply a colorcorrectionnode ( to set the saturation of the image to black and white) the displacement works not any longer.
thanks!

If somethings about texture/materials is not working as you wished that's not a plugin related problem. It's discussed on several topics. Displacement just works with image textures nothing else. I hope this helps.

I saw it but i don't answer to bugreports about test releases. Because this is temporal version and we try to develop with you guys.Next time could you please post issues in this topic? I hope that you understand my request and don't take it as freak or so. This just for making my development and life easier.
About your wish, do you see any unit or scaling parameter in CSV file? I can't. So it's not a bug for my opinion, just requires a extra parameter to scale down the matrix values.

no problem.
i also dont see any scaling parameter in the csv file.
the thing is when i open octane standalone and load the csv file myself in a scatternode it works.
when i open c4d, load the csv file in the scatterobject in c4d and then click on "edit in standalone" this is what i get in standalone: when i click on the scatternode i can see that the same numbers of the csv file are coming from c4d but they are all smaller by a factor of 100.

Propably you are using same units on standalone and phantom. But C4D should be on cm by default.fuchsundvogel wrote:no problem.

i tried it also what happens when i change the c4d units to meter. but that didn't´t help. maybe you can add a scaling value to the interface ?
