Ok. So I think I understand why the samples i posted are kind of weak.

Going to post more tests soon.

All i can say right now is i'm very glad Octane has a barrel-distortion!

best,
O

Hi Jorgensen, (or anyone who can answer this),

When creating 360 panoramas, how do you render it in stereo through Octane?

It seems there is only 1 channel when rendering through 'spherical' camera.

Standard camera renders L + R side by side. When I try spherical or cylindrical, there is only 1 image.

Am I missing something?

best,
O

Aha! I guess I am missing a lot.

I'm still on version 2.16a.

I don't have all the options you are showing me.

Guess I'll have to pull out a render slave and upgrade it to a Stereo Lab.

Thanks for posting this. I will try it when we upgrade.

What version are you currently using?

best,
O

I'm c4d user... So, I can't select cube mapping camera... Just only in s.a., I think... Isn't it?
May ask you an opinion about Zeiss VR ONE?
Thank you.
