NVM, might not be what You are looking for.. but getting 7GPUs, SingleSlot modded & seated directly into good motherboard (like asus x99ews, that provides up to seven x8 PCIe slots) seems to be the most stable & reliable solution. Every riser, spliter, extender would introduce another layer of complexity that might lead to some problems, while proper converting to Single Slot & cooling effectively running 7 GPUs in parallel with triple pump config & enough rad space will catapult You over 1000points in terms of Octane Bench =) just a n idea to consider..& the case..we'll if You use external rads, will be pretty easy to find =)

I'm trying to fit 4GPUs with rads into matx case.. so 7 of them, if You keep rads externally, will be easy to find as every case will have 7slots at least & then the only worry is where to add second PSU =)

I would go this route https://twitter.com/SpotswoodCC_LLC/sta ... 0040856576 =) less restrictive, much more room for breathing.

you think the motherboard asus x99ews is the right choice?
hmm...i diddnt find any case where 7 gpus (and 2 power supplys) will fit :-(
....besides nvidia tesla Tower (4500€)

Thats the best option.

Because this is coming: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=45472. We won't commit to a date as yet but we're aiming for a limited number of units to ship in Q1 2016.

Best,

no I mean custom loop from EK parts & rig that looks like this:
https://twitter.com/tomglimps/status/645144443327262720
(You can convert any card You choose to this with a bit of work)

Case for 7Single slot GPUs + 2PSUs - there are a lot of them
(or at least with sligh mods You can get them working easily)

ASUS X99EWS should handle those perfectly without issues
(with 40lane CPU it woul give x8 for each card as mobo has pair of PLX chips)

Feel free to drop a line directly if You need more info
as I'm not spending too much time here now (left email via PM)

Yes it has 2 spaces for two PSU (see the picture)

it's perfectly fit to put 7 GPUs on the rack which is have one single slot gap on each GPU, so the 7 GPUs won't stack close tight to each other. One thing, you need to have PCIe riser cable like Lian Li PW-PCI-E38

I was thinking to buy ASUS X99 E-WS, but due to many people are complaining regarding stability of this board, I switched to ASRock X99 WS-E which is less cheaper
