nother question: If I move the camera farther away I loose the light reflections. Why is that so?
Is that really happening - or are the reflections just too small to see You would need to increase the render resolution to check this. Also - if you have hotpixel set to 0, it might be removing the reflections if they are very small. Also, check you Kernel->Filter Size and Caustic Blur settings.

I rendered in 4k and if I view the image in full resolution and close up the lights on the glassware are gone, so, yes it's really happening. :)

Hotpixel is not 0. I will test your suggestions regarding filter size and caustic blur. Thanks again.

Maybe as you move the camera back, the lights are moving out of reflection visibility (ie. something is in front of the lights when the camera's position changes).

No shadows indicates your lights are not on.

The lights are on, it's the same scene as before, just the camera was moved back.

Thanks again for your help, I managed to get the reflections back with some more parameter tweaking and repositioning and refocussing of the camera.
