hi what will be the max gpu number for users who want to render on their local network?
will the pricing scheme be the same? so that the license will be still per machine instead of max gpus?
what about having network rendering with unlimited machines but limited gpus?

ghm, yeah that's a n interesting question..& it would be nice from OTOY side to lift this 12 limit to something more logical..24-36 at leat.. Studios or ever freelance artist come over this 12GPU limit pretty fast, 2-3 computer & You're there..so in order to sell more it would be logical to tweak some "rules"..-times are changing & OctaneRender starts to be used for more demanding projects (don't force community to look for workarounds).

Does the GPU limitation only affect the client nodes?
When I start a network rendering the no of GPUs are only listed from the external machines.
How many GPUs can I use then? The internal one(s) + 12 or 12 in total ?

+ any news about Octane 3 and max network GPUs appreciated

Hi,
you can have a max of 12 GPUs (internal + external) per Master IP address, so you can have some Master in the LAN with 12 GPUs each ;)

*not for now
ciao beppe
