I know the develperos and the probably everyone at Otoy are pretty busy with the 3.0 release, but would be nice to know their thoughts on that.
I mean using vertex maps as shaders would open up a whole new universe for animation. Probably there isn`t a day that passes by without thinking, damn now it would be handy.
Is it possible at all (probably it is)? Or do you think it is something that you would be up to in the close future?
ps.: Really, only 4 people have any interest on that topic?:)

Vertex map supported, one of my most-wanted feature for C4D. Maybe it's better to move this thread to C4D Plugin area.
