Hi,

The commercial version is identical to the demo feature wise, except it can change render resolution, saving images, save animation frames and save the octane project. (and has included PDF manual/documentation)

About crashes, these are usually due to people not using the right OBJ export settings, we can't help if you don't provide more information.
When using propper export settings and a propperly configured system/drivers, octane works very stable.

i'm a lightwave user too. i use Octane render demo since a few week... i love it too much too !!

so, i use 9.6 version of lightwave. In modeler, there is any option to export in obj file format. When i do an export, i don't have any problem with it. the import in Octane Render is correct and i can reload all texture. i can't save anythink so... hum (demo version !)

i know i can't help you about your export problem but you can see another lightwave user ( and Octane) and i don't met any problem.

i have a X2 3800+ with 2 go Ram.(Urgggg!) a 9800GTX+ with 1 go DDR. the render is particulary quickly than my cpu and i don't spend my time fixing many parameters for the render !!

i love Octane Render !!
