I recently bought the Maya Octane Plugin for a project I am working on and I agonisingly found out (after returning to the render machine a few hrs later) that it randomly stops rendering when I batch render my animation. This machine has an EVGA 980ti and a 780 non ti version. All starts out fine and then randomly the 980ti's usage will return to idle and the 780 will continue being at full power (fans, clocks, temps at full) but no more frames will be rendered even though the batch output is showing that a frame is being worked on.. The only way to resume/start the render again is to restart Maya a few times or to reboot the whole rig. The 980ti is overclocked to a very stable 1500mh/z and it never fails in any benchmark or stress test software yet I sometimes get the Nvidia Driver has stopped working problem. The 780 is stock and both cards are hooked up to a 1200w psu that is more than capable of powering the system.
Might this be a bug within Maya 2013? I also have access to 2015/16 if that will help but I have not setup Octane on these other machines yet.
Any help, input will be greatly appreciated!
