Why is this happening?

Why is this happening? When I render a scene using the plugin many of the items (objects) simply disappear and do not show up at all in the render . Even some of the basic geometry like the wall in the bathroom are not being rendered.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure - but could it have something to do with the way faces are orintatet? (backface out)

I looked at all of the materials using the monochrome view setting and while there were a few reversed faces, they were not always part of the missing objects. Some of the reversed faces were in the cabinet front doors, which are still showing up in the render. There are many objects that are missing (not rendering) that have no reversed faces at all.

Wow! I've stumped everyone! No one has any explanation?

Do you have multiple installs of the plugin? I found octane to run kind of suspect when I didn't keep all my installs in order.

Also check your normals as Jorgensen suggested.
