A Step Closer to Full Octane Scene Import in LW?
Moderator: juanjgon
Now that OCT4LW supports native Octane materials does this mean a step (or leap) closer to being able to import an Octane .OCS or .ORBX into Lightwave?? From my understanding this now means no more issues (or far fewer) with material conversion from OCT-->LW.

What's OCT4LW?
If you mean the latest builld, it doesnt support native Octane materials, it allows you to access the LIveDB materials.

Windows 8 Pro | i7 3770 OC | 32 GB Ram | Single Titan (plus Black Edition on Order) | Octane Lightwave |
Cannot wait for this feature.. will open doors in terms of collaborating with people running Octane on different platforms ie 3dsMax.
Appreciate your efforts Juanjo, many thanks.

This would help me out.
Every time I export a house model to lw I have to redo all materials.
But when I export to Octane all materials are setup.
If I change the model even slightly I have to redo in lw again.
This is the main stumbling block for me.
Please !
