I've been really curious about rendering this type of interior with Octane since I've never really been able to get great results with MR. I decided to take a small break with my mecha (probably just a few days), and possibly model a nice gothic-style hallway still with slightly dramatic lighting. I'm still trying to think up the exact style, but here's a early test render I took. Around 6k samples, 15 minute render on a single 470. I use my second card for general use while I let the image bake. Slight post-comp in PS.

Ok I have a few ideas, actually more than I'd even list, but I know I need to zone in on one.
1. Manueline-Gothic Castle
2. Victorian/Neo-Gothic Mansion
3. Ancient Egyptian Temple
4. Song Dynasty Buddhist Monastery
At any given time, said building may be occupied by a vampire, warlord, mysterious artist, enlightened philosopher, [grand]master, lost adventurer, and/or hauntingly beautiful mistress.
