Of course. That's working with all C4D projections as you can see in picture. Can you please post a simple scene to see your settings? I think you're not figuring well the issue.bendingpixels wrote:Thanks for getting back to me.. .LOL user error is way more than most of my problems. I attached the image i've been working on.
The logo on the mug is stuck there using the mix texture, but I got it into position by screwing around with the UV Transform node for a long time until it finally showed up in kinda the right place.
Are you saying that the regular C4D projections should work? I tried that and got no results. Meaning that the image didn't show up on the object unless it was set to UVW.

Hey, here's just the mug. There's 2 versions. the one I used in the render with the UVW transform node. and a second that has a mix material applied with no uvw transform and the texture tag set to flat mapping.
thanks again for the help!

Hmmmm as I said before operator error is most of my problems. I'm pretty sure that I moved the texture around in size and space, and it nver showed up. BUT regardless I understand what I did wrong, and thank YOU for the help!! I'm really loving Octane so far. I never got anytyhing that looked this good from the C4D render.
