to do anything. I can't get it to open a single file. If I drag and drop something it doesn't open. It seems that even the source files wont open. Could this be a sign of a bad install?
Also I am looking for advice on rendering Poser Pro 2010 files. Can I export an image as a obj and open it up with Octane? What settings do I need to change/make before I export from PoserPro 2010?
Thanks,
Nathan

Hi,
please read the release notes and make sure you've installed the right drivers.
if you're on windows, try these: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvi ... _whql.html
However, that is for nvidia geforce cards, so if you have a quadro you might want to get the latest quadro drivers instead.
Once that's installed try the demo version of octane by opening an OCS project from our demo suite (you can download it on our downloads page).
if that works you have a propperly installed cuda installation.
if it does'nt you either have a hardware problem or did'nt install the drivers propperly.
you also need to give more information, maybe put your configuration in your forum signature like everyone else does, it's much easier to give support.

Thanks Radaince
I checked what you said in your comment and I have those drives installed. I just rebooted my macine and everything is working super awesome right now. In fact I just completed my first render and I am super impressed with what Octan can do. I am looking forward to what I'll be rendering this weekend!
