Having gotten feedback on this image within the WIP forum, I decided to join in on the fun of the competition.
The image is assembled with a 427 Cobra from "VK", and the environment is Stonemasons "Warehouse".
I modified the textures in selected areas on the 427 Cobra to give it more of a "Hotrod" feel.
The environment was a HDR image from the Carrara 8 Pro.
The warehouse was chosen to reflect the owner of the car. Just like the powerful Shelby Cobra in a race, its owner too is someone to be reckoned with.
For those that know the WIP thread, I left out his girlfriend from this image. Thanks for the laughs guys!
Render time was 2 hours at 3200 x 1801 on a GTX 470, which then was despeckled and resized to 1920 X 1080 for posting.
The polygon count was 54978.

Very nice work mike. I think you should remove the two tires we can see through the car glass, if it is possible, i think it's too distracting.
They doesn't help to read the shape of the glass IMO.

At first I thought about making an Absolut Vodka model just for practicing but later on I decided to turn it into a still competition entry.
My motivation?! Hmm... I think the image speaks for itself.
Statistics:
Modeled in 3d studio max
Samples: 4000
Render time: ~3.5h
Triangles: 639334
Render size: 4k
Did some post by adding chromatic aberration, glow and curves correction. I followed the supersampling technique to remove the fireflies and finally reduced the imagesize by half for the final image.
I had some difficulties with noise and hotpixels by mixing glass and liquid by I hope things will get better with the upcoming release.
I'm also attaching some close-up shots which I did for testing (mainly DOF).
I've seen great entries in this competition and I wish good luck to everyone.
p.s. Images are also available in png format if needed.
