Phantom VR, a professional architecture presentation tool designed for architects!

Image

Greetings everyone,

Please know that I am developing an architecture presentation tool designed for architects! The software is mainly designed to be used alongside Octane Render.

I have thought out a concept which I won't fully disclose yet, but know that this software is going to consist of 2 programs:
- Phantom VR, licensed Windows app. In this program you will put together your VR presentation. The program will export a single presentation file.
- Phantom VR viewer (Android), free app in Google Play, will be able to import your presentation files.

Using this structure, you as a designer can work out the presentation files in the Phantom VR Windows app, and then send them to as many of your customers as you like, who will be able to load it up and view it. The Android app will be able to display it with and without VR, which in the VR case means it will work with Google Cardboard and other VR headsets later on.

I will let you guys know about the advancements as development goes. I have a clear plan of what I want -- but I'll only show it as soon as it works. ;)

I'm working on the Android app first, which will become available for testing soon.

sounds interesting.
do you need to use the "Phantom VR viewer" or would the exported files work with other viewer apps such as the otoy one and just a plain 360 viewer such as kolor eyes?

It's always hard to get people to download yet another viewer app for just one presentation

looking forward to more details and your products always look good.

Yes, the Phantom VR viewer is required, that way I have full control over the user experience plus it allows me to make a bunch of special features. My objective is to make other viewers obsolete.

Maybe further down the road beppe. ;) I expect it to be difficult though as the app needs to have the ability to browse the phone storage so you can import a presentation file. I don't know if Apple allows that yet...if ever...
