All scenes lost all Materials?

Every file I have for DAZ has lost all the Octane Material settings..... Is there something I need to do to prevent this or is this a bug?

Did you happen to recently upgrade to 2.x plugin and opening 1.x files? 2.x can't read 1.x materials.

Other than that I have no clue. I don't have the issue you mention as long as I stay within the right plugin version.

And I doubt this piece, but worth asking. Did you happen to open those files with the plugin disabled? I've found that if you open the files without the plugin, and save, it strips the OCDS data This was known in 1.x, but I thought 2.x was going to fix it so this would never happen.

Lastly, did you happen to change your preferences to never load the OCDS materials when files are opened? There is an option for this in the preferences, though I am not at home to point it out.

im an idiot, i hit that import button and set it to manual on the daz screen, put it back to Duff all is good again. I wish that setting would stay as it is/was for scenes but it seems a lot of DAZ setting in the view port get set and stay that way with new or old files.
