Hi Guys,

I couldn't get any motion blur or DOF effects on ambient occlusion pass? This makes the compositing very difficult
Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks

Jimmy

There should be an option in the Information Channel kernel settings for Distributed Raytracing that enables motion blur and depth of field.

But it looks like you already found it. If that's not working then I don't know what would. Make sure you select Beauty Pass on the viewport even though you'll be rendering AO in the Info Channel.

Thanks Profbetis It worked but its doesn't show in octane view port "AO pass" in path tracing mode. I guess I will have to set AO pass as separate thing with info channel
hope they can fix this in 3.0

Cheers

I recently discovered that there is also a Distributed Raytracing option in the Info Passes setup under Kernel Type. This should make ALL render passes have DOF and MB.
