Hi.

Curious if what I'm doing is the proper way of achieving this, or if there are better alternatives.

I exported a beauty pass with some multipasses enabled (E.g Direct.D, Direct.I). Now I'd like to export another pass that I did not originally select (E.g Refract).

I only select the Render Passes option for Octane and specify the target location to save the export. (I don't save the flat beauty pass)
This seems to work, but I'd like to know if there are other methods to do this.

Also, just saving multpasses should be much quicker than saving the flat beauty pass (seems to be quicker, but not as quick as I expected), does Octane still have to do the flat beauty pass calculations if they are not saved?

Thanks.

Actually it seems as if the beauty is calculated nonetheless. Makes sense since the rays must be calculated any way, except for mattes, where it doesnt make sense at all.

Makes sense. Didn't know about the matte passes though.

Thanks.
