I'd just like to say a big congratulations to the metaverse winners. It was an amazing experience for me . It was the first time I had used Octane and its been a real eye opener. Even on my old 4gb 770 gtx it performed like a champ (couldn't get ORC to work for the life of me). If I hadn't just built a cpu renderfarm for my regular renderer I would buy it in a heartbeat. As it is I'm really tempted just for the VR camera's alone. The stereo cubemap camera is a game changer.
There were some truly inspirational entries and I take my hat off to you all. The quality of most of the entries was mindblowing. Rik The Gaijin I'd really love to see the breakdowns of your piece when you have time, personally I thought you had it in the bag ( no offense California_Ben) but going through the gallery tonight in my Gear VR I can see why the judges had such a hard time.
Anyway I just wanted to stop by and offer my congrats. Maybe the next time I drop by I'll be a licensed member.

Congratulations Ben. Beautiful work. I know what you mean about rekindling that old excitement. I decided to get an octane license yesterday purely based on my experiences during this competition. Hope to see you around the forum.
