Hi Paul,
is it possible that we will have an octane render batch render plugin that will read a list of scenes that we set partameters and we let the software run overnight.
There is a plugin for modo http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/discu ... =4&t=48440 can we have a clone for octane render.
Cheers,
Vlad
Octane Render for Modo Batch Render

Hi - that script looks like it only supports up to Modo701. The next release of the plugin should hopefully have a new command added - to save the current render to file. So in theory, it will be possible to write a simple python script to check if the render is complete - and if it is, save to png and load the next file in sequence.

I feel you are busy with all the plugins you support today for octane Paul, but if you can close this functionality this will be a nice addition for over night render for the files I made during the day.face_off wrote:Hi - that script looks like it only supports up to Modo701. This would be amazing. Not saying its you or anything but I think more devs need to look at maxwell render. Their multilight interface and network render interface are amazing. Let alone the referenced material system. Like I said, you do a great job and I love octane, especially the speed. But just those "little" things (I'm sure they aren't so little) would really make it the ultimate render.
