Anyone have any idea what's going on here? I have a hair particle system that renders properly in the view port but not in the actual render. I have my mesh type set to scatter. I'm using octane with the blender plug-in as well.

But when I actually render this is what i get.
hair particles render in viewport but nubby in render (pics)
Could you show your particles' settings?

well after messing around a bit I found I could get the view port to render the same as my render by flipping the bears normals. So for some reason the normals are being rendered flipped in the actual render. Sadly doing this caused my renders to now be all black. I should also mention that I've been rendering to a stereo cub map. Though I turned that off for testing .
I've checked, everything is ok on my machine. So, if you want, you can share your scene.
