Saving copies of copies of copies?

Hey there,

So I am finding that the plug in saves materials, over and over and over. I always say do not save but it seems i wind up with 1000s of materials at some points making images. Is this expected behavior? Can I disable this?

My used materials all have numbers next to them, like

Red Lather (6)

Is that 6 6 copies or version 6?

The unused materials become out of control pretty fast when you render 2,3... 5 of the same scene with lots of materials, again this seems a little out of whack.

Hope its solved soon its a real pain in the arse when rendering more than on images with a file

Dose this bug cause DAZ files to load slow?

I have a pose file that i pose characters in then a separate Props file. I re open the pose file (delete all unused materials prior to saving, but this file is now taking 20 min to open ...... not sure if this is DAZ or Octane? 2 charters and a plane in pose file only.

is there a cache file or files on disk i need to clean up to go back to a DAZ file that used Octane 1,2,3... times?

i don't think it slows anything down. not for me anyway.
