Hello Aoktar and everyone!

I don't know if it's related to c4d or to Octane itself, but when rendering overnight using render queue, it randomly stops rendering just displaying an error message, and it happens pretty much everynight :D which is annoying obviously.

The BIG problem is that c4d stays idle displaying a "render failure" prompt which requires a click on a OK button to be able to restart the queue. (Which then keeps on with the other jobs like nothing ever happened.)

And when I relaunch the rendering of the frame which caused the problem, it renders without any problem.

The queue contains multiple jobs, with simple scenes, 6 frames of camera animation (displaying each time a different camera angle to make a cube map out of the scene) , 1.5 GB scene easily fitting in the 12GB of a hybrid watercooled TitanX to avoid heat-related problem, rendering times ranging from 1 to 20 minutes per frame.

Any clue on what is causing the problem or what could I do in C4d to avoid this behavior?

Are you sure that don't exceed the triangle count limits? It's a CUDA error and not related with plugin. There should be a problem in RENDERER SIDE. Like a limitation, Hardware problem, out of VRAM....

Thank you for your answer, I'll do some tests activating de-activating on or the other gpu.
