Yes, that is a problem that occurred a bunch of times for me as well, really annoying. The usual Windows trick of switching to that window etc do not work. What does seem to work (and it is a bit random, unfortunately), is rebooting the machine, logging into a different user account first, then returning to the one where you have been using DAZ and restarting DAZ. Good luck ... in any case, it seems to be an annoying bug in the programming of the interface, that needs fixing at the source. OTOY, please take care of this! While I was working on a scene, my nodegraph editor got stuck on top of the screen somehow where I cant even grab the taskbar of it anymore. When I close it down, it gave me a fatal error. Even if I restart Daz Studio it's still stuck...

Not sure it would solve it, since this is an Octane Interface issue, not part of the DAZ workspace layout, but I might give it a shot. What worked for me (eventually) was rebooting, logging into a different account, then going back to the original one, restarting everything. I am not saying it works all the time, but it seems to be the most reliable method. Good luck, if you experience the same issue.in case of panels floating off screen
(what i can't avoid an the plugin side, since panels placing is done by studio)
you can save the current layout by
main menu > windows > workspace > save as...
Clearly, this is a bug in the source code that the OTOY programmers need to fix.
While you may be frustrated by your issue, not attempting to use the fix suggested, and ignoring where the fault actually lies makes giving advice seem pointless. It is a known issue with Quicktime window drawing, and is entirely controlled by Daz Studio itself. Otoy can't reprogram Daz Studio. Saving a workspace layout in Daz Studio with every window where you want it in Daz Studio, redraws all Daz Studio panels where they are in the layout upon loading. If you choose not to use this to prevent the issue in the future, it is your own time to waste.huhlig wrote:Yeah, happens to me from time to time, really annoying!
