I want to upgrade my hardware and I'm wondering what GPU to buy.
If octane V3 will be able to render on OpenCL could you provide more information like:
1) OctaneBench Results for ATI GPU's?
2) It will be able to work on OpenCL mix GPU NVIDIA and ATI?
p.s.
Is there some topic dedicated for Octane V3 on forum? Search result cant give results becous Octane V3 generates to many results, but I don't see very much topis ???

That's because Octane 3 is not out yet, not even the beta, so nobody has tried it.indi_80 wrote:Is there some topic dedicated for Octane V3 on forum? Search result cant give results becous Octane V3 generates to many results, but I don't see very much topis ???
I know, but i hope somebody from developers can reveal some behind the scene info
I found info that ati GPUs and Nvidia working on OpenCL in brigade engine have simmilar results. But what i'm iteresting to compare GPU power/price
I'm realize it is now under development and it can change in time but i'm curious what is condition right now ;-D
