Hi folks!

Anyone know why maya don't render IPR with High res image setup.

Maya 2015 with Octane 2.23.2 - 7.8

My setup is: 4446x3394 300 dpi with some render passes.

Hey Gabriel,

I rendered even higher resolutions and it worked fine in IPR.
I think more than 8K res wasn't possible with my 3Gig 780's but possible with the 6gig Titan.

So i guess it must be something else then hires.

try verbose mode and see the log files...

Verbose mode was checked, but still not render the image with IPR.

Is look huge for me just on IPR in maya?? try to use the section render if you deactivate "use pick focus" and then render only where you need see the details. Also resolution on maya set 72 and then in photoshop change to 300 dpi.
this may help you out.

some times aswell is memory cause of the passes. activate for IPR only the one you want see then for final render yeah activate all for the cmd render.

for me is working fine , you still can render tiled aswell to avoid the extra memory need
use lens shift option and aperture divide by 2.

No problem if you need any help to understand how to render tiled I could explain better but is quite easier if you look around on the forum will find on C4D plug section.

just need set for example tiled by 2x2 half of the image size and the key lens shift in 4 frames, 0.5,05 for frame1,-0.5,05 for frame2, -0.5,-05 for frame3, 0.5,-05 for frame4

and camera aperture divide by 2. and render the sequence.
