Interestingly I found that the HDRI lighting solutions from the demo kit - when super saturated in PS - produce a super green (rather than gray) color, and then I can just swap hues around and be able to very quickly mask out my objects with mostly color wand'ing.

not sure why it's green instead of Grey, but it actually was an ok thing for me.

there's a bit of aliasing from the cut-out I think on the exclamation mark, but this isn't good enough to be posted in the gallery, even though it's a finished piece.

Flag is a still image, fireworks are products of a software called Particle Illusion 3

Feel free to tell me it sucks, or you love it :)

lol, ya, it's soooo impressive :P

Besides, I'm pretty sure that the picture has to have all 3D rendered stuff, and that's a lot of different stuff comped together.
