I have not checked the cuda driver versions yet, though the master was recently updated. That is a good suggestion, thanks!

I upgraded my cuda drivers to the same version on the master machine as the slave. No difference. I also disabled the firewalls again on both machines, no difference.
To run things down:

To run things down:
- I do have reliable and established network connections between machines. This is verified by both direct access to the main volumes from either machine to the other, as well as success use of Team Render in Cinema.
- I have Octane standalone licenses on both machines.
- All versions of Octane are in sync.
- I have followed all of the instructions for network rendering that I can find.
- I am running the daemon on the slave machine.
- I am running on a Gigabit network.
- Both machines are in the same subnet.
- Both machines are running the current version of Windows 64 8.1
- Nvidia drivers are in sync.

Edited: what firewall have you disabled? Windows firewall or are you using other firewall?

The ip of the slave is 192.168.1.31
I have disabled the Windows firewall on the slave (the only firewall present.) On the master I have disabled the ESET firewall. The Windows firewall is managed by ESET, and I have confirmed this through the settings.

My only other option is to get the file over to Octane standalone and render it out manually. However, none of the lighting and camera information came through, so even that option is now gone, apparently.

Yes, I saw that from the beginning, and I have made a few comments in this thread about my suspicions regarding that. My network is DHCP, which means that the addresses are automatically generated. I think that means I have to talk to the router to force an address, but I suppose that is the only option that I seem to have left to me. Honestly, there is no reason to limit the scan, outside of enforcing the 12 GPU limit -- however, if OTOY is doing so in that manner, especially considering that so many networks operate with DHCP, that is really inconsiderate to their customers at the very least...

I have set the ip of the slave machine to 192.168.1.19, and still nothing.I will reboot and try again across the board, but it would seem that this was not the issue after all...
