No mater what I do, refresh textures in poser, refresh textures in Octane, the eyes always render blue, and any hair texture changes I make do note show up in octane, but they do in Poser. using the plug that ends in .48 to be able to select texture nodes without 60 second delay. I guess my render target is corrupt from switching back and forth between plugin versions.

I doubt it is picking up the wrong defaults. Is this happening on every figure and hair prop, or only some? Does it happen with Roxie? Can you post the Octane Material tab showing the eye material pls?

If I take a texture into photoshop and add some grey streaks to hair, and reload textures in Poser, and Octane, it shows the proper texture in the Octane node, but does not render the hair with the grey streaks I added.

Is this related to the original issue posted in this thread? I am confused!

Same issue. Eeyes only render blue, and adding grey streaks to hair do not show up in octane render. All related in my opinion. That's why maybe my render target is corrupt. Where is it again? Thanks.

I can hardly believe that this is related to your default rendertarget.
If you point Octane to a diffuse texture and the texture is shown as sitting in the node - it should show up in the render, simple as that.

Have you maybe tried changing your rayepsilon value?
I've noticed hiccups similar to the ones you mentioned above when setting the rayepsilon to extremely high / low values.

Would it be possible to post some screenshots of the problems you are having pls? I doubt your rendertarget is the problem, but if you want to reset it, the location of these settings are detailed at http://render.otoy.com/universe.php#44Render%20Settings in the "Load/Save as Default" section.
