Installation Problems

Can someone please help me out here.

I've followed the directions and have installed the most recent version of standalone and have activated the license. I've uncompressed the Octane C4D plugin contents into my plugins folder.

I've installed the most recent cuda drivers and cuda toolkit.

I've changed the plugin permissions to ensure that they have admin access.

Octane will not show up as a cinema4d plugin.

Every other plugin I have installed is working, including VRay.

I mean the installation instructions make it seem a lot easier to install than vray but nothing is working.

I'm on a mac running yosemite 10.10.2
