I was thinking the same ... could be. If you work with only one GPU, do you have also the CPU memory leak?giacob wrote:could be an hardware problem?
another ram usage problem

memory leak disappear only when using ipr ,,, with one gpu i can render the first time but it chashes the second, while ipr works fine...... with both gpu i cant neither render nor iprjuanjgon wrote:I was thinking the same ... could be. Are you rendering in update mode? What happens if you render in full scene reload mode? (Always with only one GPU, I am now trying to figure the source of the memory leak)
Like in the realflow scene, if you disable the deformations MB, all works fine?

Perhaps one texture is corrupted, or you have the "Convert 8-bit to float" option enabled in the LW CS options.
If you have textures large the 4k you could try to remove them to see what happens.
So in short: can your full scene without textures be rendered without problems using both GPUs and without the memory leak?

Really I don't know. It is a weird issue, I never have seen something like this.
What happens if you try to export the scene from the IPR (with only one GPU enabled to avoid the crash problem) as an .orbx file and you load it in Standalone? In Standalone can you render the scene with both GPUs enabled?
This is a test to know if we have a Octane problem, or to know if the problem is in the LW plugin. Enable the IPR and while it is rendering, export the scene to an .orbx file using the option in the main menu tab. This .orbx is a snapshot of the scene with all the objects and texture maps, that can be loaded in Standalone.
