New incoming R17

Hi!
As everyone, I'm thinking about MSA of Cinema4D and I wonder if I really need to update and then spend money... One of most important thing, is if the Octane for C4D is R17 ready...

R16 version of plugin is working on R17. No worries i think. But there is new C4D color controls to use. I'll think about it what we should do. But i'm not sure about new features that's worth or not. You should decide it.

You should get it. You might as well have the option to upgrade to R17 at a cheaper rate, than not do it and realize you need to upgrade and have to do it at full price.

I'm a little bit upset with Maxon: I'm quite tired to spend money and having - more or less - nothing.
In R16 upgrade I get NOTHING I use everyday. The only important thing I was interested in was the stair generator and window/door generator... But only in studio version.
Now I wonder: why did you push out the Visualize version? Maybe the stair generator is for animators? Not for architects? Uhmmm...
So, this year, I think I'll not renew the MSA...
The only things vry important to me is Octane for c4d. Thank you again, Ahmet, for your great works!

you are right about Maxon and the new stair and windows generators! Yes, Why only for Studio? They will be surely better suited in Visualize! I will ask explanation to Maxon, or better, I invite all of you Visualize users to ask at Maxon why.

Yes, I have R17 as other plugin devs. But it's under NDA. People will see and make their decisions by self. Btw, C4D is most user-friendly and easy software i have seen. I hope that Maxon will add more user requested features.
