Hi,
I' m testing miscellaneous things in octane and I try to do something i command line(set up the camera).
I searched the forum and i found some info about max/blender exporter.
I tryed write some lines :

octanedemo -m box.obj --cam-pos-x 251.883 --cam-pos-y 1136.02 --cam-pos-z 73.3415 --cam-target-x 119.932 --cam-target-y 1026.86 --cam-target-z 382.567

only thing is that, the octane start up, but doesn't load obj file.

sorry for my english

that's not the correct way to do it.

-m just selects an existing OBJ meshnode's name to render, which does'nt exist as you haven't given an ocs project to open with the node in it.
examine the output of octane --help a bit more.

on the other hand, why don't you get a license and use a plugin to render aniamtions from 5 existing plugins (max, maya, xsi, blender, c4d) and sketchup and modo in development.
