When I have my renderclient (renderpal) running as a service octane give me an error there is no cuda device selected and then hangs. When I try to render the same job as with the renderclient running as a normal proces all is well.
If it is for some reason not possible to run octane if it's started by a proces that's running as a service it would be nice to get an error instead of starting the render and never finishing it.

Hi Wenneker, did you ever get Octane render to work with Renderpal ?
I am currently using renderpal with Redshift render and I am trying to work it with Octane render, but unfortunately there is no Octane render desciption or choice under the renderpal menu...

We sometimes use octane for our projects and render with renderpal. I no longer have it running as a service but just as a normal process.
Lack of a preset isn't a big problem since the scene renderer option works well then.
